A 65-year old Wyndham Vale man was killed in a crash north of Charlton on Wednesday afternoon.

Police investigators believe the car was travelling along the Calder Highway when the driver lost control and crashed his four wheel drive into a tree about 1.15pm.
The white Toyota has then rolled as a result of the impact with the tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
The Calder Highway was closed between Burong Highway and St Arnaurd-Wycheproof Road until 7pm on Wednesday.
So far this year 131 people have died on Victoria roads compared to 85 in 2018.
