A REINVIGORATION of the Twenty20 competition, future of the under-18 division and a review of fixturing are among the topics set for discussion at a Bendigo District Cricket Association summit this Sunday.
BDCA clubs will meet to discuss a range of topics for the competition going forward from 10am at Golden Square.
Among the topics that have been submitted for discussion are:
* reviewing the BDCA fixture;
* bringing the starting time of 1pm games in the first and second XI forward to 12.30pm;
* utilising the Duckworth Lewis system in rain-affected one-day matches;
* reducing second XI overs;
* ways of reinvigorating the Twenty20 competition;
* introducing rules restricting overseas players; and
* the future direction of the under-18 competition.
