The latest update from the Australian Electoral Commission shows 22,800 people - or 20.2 per cent of people enrolled to vote - had cast their votes to Monday evening.
In 2016, 22.7 per cent of voters had their say at the ballot box ahead of election day.
Of the three pre-polling stations in Bendigo, Mitchell Street has been busiest with more than 12,500 people casting their vote.
Golden Square has had just over 9000 visit the election booth while Castlemaine has seen 1211 people vote ahead of the federal election this Saturday.
The Bendigo electorate has three pre-polling stations open ahead of this Saturday's election day.
Voters can cast their ballot at Shop 45 Mitchell Street, Bendigo, Castlemaine Town Hall in Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine or at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, 113-123 Mackenzie Street West, Golden Square.
Each polling booth is open from 8.30am.
