After a successful debut season with the Bendigo Spirit in the WNBL, followed by a finals series with German club Keltern - where the team narrowly missed out on the championship.
And now to cap it all off, Tobin has just returned to Australia for her debut NBL1 season with the Braves.
Tobin may have been busy on the other side of the world fulfilling her duties with Keltern - but she has been keeping a close eye on all that has been happening down under.
"I've been watching a lot of the games online," Tobin said.
"From what I've seen the Braves are a really good team that play well together."
This might be the Arizona native's first season with the Braves, but there are a few familiar faces on the squad with the likes of Nadeen Payne, Bianca Dufelmeier and coach Megan Moody, who was assistant coach at the Spirit in the 2018/19 season.
There will also be some faces who were once foes that will now be friends, including Tessa Lavey and Kelly Wilson.
"I've played against them before in the WNBL, so I'm looking forward to now being on the same side as them, they are both great on the court and always play for their team," Tobin said.
Tobin averaged 11.35 points per game and 9.05 rebounds in her debut with the Spirit and was one of the top recruits of the season in the WNBL.
Braves coach Megan Moody said Tobin would provide the team with an "extra weapon" on the court.
"Becca will be a massive help both offensively and defensively," Moody said.
"She has got the height and will give us a huge presence in the key alongside Gabe Richards, which is going to be exciting to watch."
However, Moody doesn't want to put undue pressure on the American import.
"Becca is a great addition for us, but not the saviour," Moody said
"We're definitely not putting the entire weight of the whole team on Becca's shoulders.
"Everyone person on the team plays their own important role...right down to the younger squad players."
Tobin is still fresh off European time zones, but will take to the court this weekend when the Braves host the Waverley Falcons on Saturday night.
"She will run with the group on Thursday and if she's feeling good, we will play her as normal for the match," Moody said.
