The Country Fire Authority is directing traffic on the north bound lane of the Calder Highway at Hokins Rd after a car fire
A CFA spokesperson said there was a small oil fire under the bonnet of a car, which has been extinguished.
First Lieutenant David Hutchings said the fire was under the bonnet of the car.
"I would say some sort of seal has gone, " he said. "We had it under control as soon as we were on scene."
CFA crews reduced the highway to one lane and controlled traffic.
The car has been pushed into Hokins Road and the Calder Highway is now clear with both lanes open.
