The Borough trailed by 32 points early in the third quarter before they turned the game on its head.
The home side kicked six of the next seven goals in the third quarter to grab a slender lead at the final change.

The Hawks then added four goals to one in the final term to win by 20 points. Dillon Williams and Cam McGlashan best for the Borough, while Nick Stagg and Jake McLean battled hard for the Dragons.
Sandhurst's wretched run with injuries continued, with Will Holt forced from the ground in first term with a shoulder injury.
Kangaroo Flat 10.15 (75) d Castlemaine 3.7 (25)
The Roos finally broke their duck under new coach Rob Bennett.
After an arm-wrestle in the first-half, the Roos gradually wore the Magpies down and kicked clear in the final term.
Ruckman Nic Lang and on-baller Jon Lanyon were the standouts for Flat. John Watson and Matt Filo were best for the Magpies.
Golden Square 25.17 (167) d Maryborough 8.6 (54)
Worst performance of the season by the Magpies as Golden Square tore them apart at Wade Street.
Square forwards Jayden Burke (seven goals) and Alex Marklew (six goals) had a day out, while Ryan Hartley did plenty of damage in the middle.
The Magpies, who were again without Stewart Crameri, had Lachy Butler and Matt Bilton in their best players.
Strathfieldsaye 23.24 (162) d Kyneton 4.4 (28)
Another Saturday, another comfortable win for the Strathfieldsaye Storm.
Lachlan Sharp kicked a big bag of 12 goals and Shannon Geary was superb in his 150th game for the club.
Patrick McCarthy and Josh Govan tried hard against the odds for the Tigers.
South Bendigo 11.5 (71) lt Gisborne 25.18 (168)
Gisborne showed how potent its front half can be by kicking a cricket score against the Bloods.
Matt Goodyear had the ball on a string, while Jake Conolan and Jack Scanlon kicked 11 goals between them.
Big man Callum Crisp was best for the Bloods.
HEATHCOTE DISTRICT FNL - round 5
LBU 14.5 (89) d White Hills 13.7 (85)
The Demons looked on track to record the upset of the season when they led by three goals midway through the final quarter.
However, the undefeated Cats stormed home to pinch victory in the dying minutes.
Lachlan Collins bagged six goals for the Cats, while Mitch Dole kicked six goals for the Demons.
Elmore 8.4 (52) lt Mt Pleasant 17.15 (117)
Three impressive wins on the trot for Mt Pleasant.
A 10-goal to one first half set up the big win, with Ben Weightman kicking eight goals to take his season tally to 24.
The margin was 81 points at three quarter-time before the Bloods kicked 5.0 to 2.2 in the last term.
Heathcote 12.7 (79) lt Leitchville-Gubower 12.13 (85)
Heartbreak for the home side, losing by just one goal to the reigning premiers.
The young Saints took it up to the Bombers all day, but just fell short.
Jackson Dye and Matt Pollock were the standouts for the Bombers, while Codie Price and Kai Cavallaro were best fror Heathcote.
Colbinabbin 25.4 (154) d Huntly 7.5 (47)
The straight-kicking Grasshopper flexed their muscle against the young Hawks.
Sam Bowers was brilliant for the home side, kicking seven goals in a best on ground performance. Todd Bryant showed his class, while MIchael Battista and Ben Southam kicked four goals each.
Huntly's best were Steve Kairn and Harry Whittle.
LODDON VALLEY FNL - round 6
Mitiamo 8.11 (59) d Calivil United 5.14 (44)
The Superoos celebrated their 130th anniversary with a hard-fought win over a gallant Calivil United.
Calivil United led by one point at the final change, but the home side added 3.1 to 0.3 in the final quarter to win by 15 points.
Mitiamo's Tyrone Downie kicked four goals and was best on ground. Jake Hall was best for the Demons.
Bears-Lagoon Serpentine 6.14 (50) lt Pyramid Hill 15.10 (100)
The Bulldogs cruised to their fifth-straight win of the season.
Dylan Tonkin was superb, while Bailey George and Ben Dalton kicked four goals each.
The Bears were again wayward in front of goal. Ollie Leonard-Shannon and Brodie Leonard-Shannon were their best players.
Bridgewater 17.14 (116) d Marong 12.11 (83)
The Mean Machine produced their best performance of the season to defeat Marong by 33 points.
The home side trailed by 10 points at the main break before a five-goal to one third term gave it the momentum.
Bridgewater added another six goals in the last quarter to put an exclamation mark on the victory. Alex Powell kicked five goals and Peter Rothacker was brilliant.
