Dressed in an array of rosy hues, the entrants ran, walked, and in at least one case cycled, to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.
"It was fabulous to see so many people there today, it was great," co-organiser Fiona Bradshaw said.
Mrs Bradshaw, who together with Jody McGregor took over the running of the event for the first time this year, thanked the previous committee for its support and building up the event over the previous decade.
She was also grateful to the community for its support, with people stepping forward to volunteer and local businesses offering a hand.
Mrs Bradshaw said she believed the event continued to enjoy strong support because of its message: so many people were touched by breast cancer, and the run provided an opportunity to come together.
