Why did you decide to become a personal care assistant?
I want to help the elderly make their years left happy.
What do you enjoy about your job?
Hearing their life story and helping make their days brighter.
I love coming to work!! The elderly residents I look after deserve to be cared and loved until their final days.
They have so many stories to tell us. They are lonely and look forward to a familiar, kind face every day. I try to care for everyone like they were family or how I would want my family cared for.
What's your passion? What do you really care about?
My family, reading and travel.
What's your Bendigo story?
Lived in Bendigo since I was eight years old. Moved to Castlemaine six years ago to be closer to elderly in-laws.
What do you do on your Saturday morning?
Usually working.
What's your guilty pleasure TV show of choice?
Bold and the Beautiful: Long day at work, live in Castlemaine, leave home at 6am and get home about 4pm. Fall asleep on the couch watching TV.
