Faced with blustery conditions at the Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve, the CMC boys and their opponents battled their way through the first quarter.
After several mistakes from both sides, the two squads became settled and the game was on.
CMC finished the first quarter with a seven-point lead over Emmanuel, moving forward the team "put the foot down" and took authority over the game.
CMC managed to keep Emmanuel off the scoreboard in the second quarter, while adding another seven points to its name.
In the third quarter CMC booted five goals, restricting Emmanuel to just one.
And in the fourth quarter the victory was signed, sealed and delivered with another 17 points, with Emmanuel going scoreless.
CMC was able to finish the match with a strong 71-point lead with the final scores at 12.13 (85) over 2.2 (14).
Zac Featherby booted a solid four goals, Kyle Jones (3), Mitchell Rovers (2), Noah Walsh (2) and Cooper Smith (1).
Sam Conforti made strong contributions to be named best on ground, with William Wallace, Featherby, Isaac Carracher, Benjamin Worme, Zack Shelton, Rovers and Walsh also making admirable inputs.
CMC coach Lee Coghlan said the team's "even performance" and consistency across the back and midfield contributed to the win.
"And if we want to continue having success in the Premier League, we have to keep having consistent performances from the whole team," Coghlan said.
"Sam (Conforti) played a terrific game in the midfield - he's clean with the football and always makes the right decision when he has the ball."
CMC's next match will be against rivals Bendigo Senior Secondary College on May 22 at the QEO.
"It's a massive game for both schools - it's going to be a tight contest," Coghlan said.
"I'm expecting BSSC to contend with a strong team."
BSSC was due to play Warrnambool College in round one of the Premier League, however their opponent forfeited and will now head to the CMC clash without having played a game.
