Boy hospitalised after fire in Anderson Street
A nine-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a fire in Bendigo last night.
Firefighters treated a boy for smoke inhalation after a fire on a stove-top smoke-logged a weatherboard house Anderson Street.
Firefighters evacuated a family of five after a passer-by called 000 at 10.22pm.
Emergency accommodation was organised for the residents and a building surveyor was expected to assess the house.
