She is one of 13 people who will give the performance of their young lives on Saturday, some of whom have never appeared in front of crowds before.
Artists from Hip-Hop Drop - a space dedicated to helping young people through hip-hop, music and art - will take the stage from 1.15pm and 2.35pm.
The 20 minute Bigger Than Hip-Hop set will feature a debut song by 14-year-old Seth Eastwood-Allum and another penned by Alice Payne during her time with the group. Jake and the Fatman will also perform.
Taya is one of the performers to appear as part of Victress Crew, an all-female dance crew.
She has performed with a dance crew in Ballarat before, but is jumping in the deep end after joining Bendigo's Victress Crew a few weeks ago.
"I'm pretty excited. I'm nervous too, because it is probably going to be a bigger crowd than normally dance in front of," she said.
"Dance just helps me cope with a lot of things. When I come to rehearsals I feel like I can just dance. It doesn't get rid of any problems, but they are gone for a certain amount of time," she said.
"It's fun to create new ideas, especially for songs you would not think you could dance to."

Hip-Hop Drop's Eaglehawk premises was a hub for people wanting to further their music and dance, program coodinator Mr Flood said.
"It's a massive opportunity for all of them (the performers), but particularly for those with established music to network backstage with those inside the music industry," he said.
Jai Atkinson is the group's hip hop facilitator and will be performing with the young people as part of Jake and the Fatman.
He said making it in the music industry meant the performers would need to get out of their comfort zone and learn to network.
"People remember a friendly face more than they do a performance," Mr Atkinson said.
The performance has been made possible through a partnership between HipHopportunities and Groovin the Moo and is funded by a state government Engage! grant.
