CAPTAIN Taylor Beard and recruit Shasheen Fernando shared the honours as winners of Sandhurst Cricket Club's Noel Turner Memorial Award as first XI best and fairest for 2018-19.
Beard and Fernando each polled 55 votes to win the award.
Runner-up in the best and fairest was another of the club's recruits in Joel Murphy on 45 votes.
Opening batsman Murphy also won the batting average with 487 runs @ 40.5 and was named the under-21 rising star.
Murphy's tally of 487 runs included a pair of centuries against Huntly-North Epsom (115) and Strathdale-Maristians (100 n.o.).
The bowling average was taken out by spinner Sam Sperling with 16 wickets @ 20.5 before he suffered a foot injury.
The club champion was also a new player to the club in Matthew Combe with 720 points.
