The bakery has taken home gold in Australia's Best Hot Cross Bun competition, which is run by the Baking Association of Australia, manager Judy Johns says.
It is the first time since 2016 that the bakery has won gold.
The bakery last year sold 2000 hot cross buns on the Thursday before Easter and demand would likely be the same this year, Ms Johns said.
"We will sell a lot on Saturday and Sunday as well, but today is probably our main day," she said.
The business thanked its bakers and front of house staff for their efforts.
