The association awarded the bakery a gold certificate for its traditional hot cross bun.
Elmore Bakery owner Travis Wilson said he was expecting to sell thousands of hot cross buns over the Easter long-weekend.
Bendigo bakery the Good Loaf won first prize in the award, announced in March, for the second year running.

The perfect hot cross bun is soft, with lots of fruit, a beautiful flavour - not too sweet or too savoury - and of course, a nice cross on the top, according to Mr Wilson.
The Elmore Bakery has been entering the hot cross bun competition for four years.
Mr Wilson makes sure the buns have sultanas, raisins and currants, but none of the mixed peal some people dislike.
He attributes this year's success to a few tweaks to the recipe.
"We're pretty excited, because it's just before Easter it's come, so perfect timing," Mr Wilson said.
"Good Friday last year we sold 3000 hot cross buns by 10 o'clock."
