After months of pre-season training sessions and preparations off the field, the Central Victorian Football League Women's had a flying start to round one of the 2019 season.
Strathfieldsaye Storm 14.6 (90) showed it is the force to reckoned with this season, with a dominating performance over Kyneton Tigers 2.2 (14).
Storm - the 2018 CVFLW runners up to Bendigo Thunder - had 38 points on the board by half time, restricting the Tigers to just seven.
The flow continued in the final half and Storm secured the win with another 52 points, in comparison to the Tigers' seven.

North Bendigo showed its strength with a hard-fought 5.7 (37) win over Eaglehawk 3.8 (26).
North Bendigo led at the half-time mark with 21 points, restricting Eaglehawk to only two.
However, Eaglehawk came back strong in the second half adding 24 points to the board, but the effort wasn't enough to outscore North Bendigo.
Golden Square shined on the field with a 7.11 (53) to 5.4 (34) win over Kangaroo Flat.
The CVFLW will have a bye over the Easter long weekend.
