The Roos, led by a standout performance in defence by Alicia Gladman, had control in each quarter on their way to a 47-15 victory over the Bulldogs at Wade Street.
The win pushed the Roos into fifth place and has delivered them the second best percentage in the competition of 146.55 per cent, second only to defending champions Sandhurst on 159.72 per cent.
Roos skipper Chelsea Sartori believed her side had learned valuable lessons from their bold five goal loss to the Dragons the previous week.
"It's definitely a good feeling to get a win on the board, we did have our chances last week against Sandhurst to take the four points but didn't convert when we needed to and they're experience and the way they controlled the ball got them over the line.
"In saying that I was extremely proud of the girls and the way they played.
"We were up at every change and the score definitely didn't reflect the game. Golden Square never gave up and made it hard for us out there."
The 32-goal win continued a fantastic day on the netball court for Kangaroo Flat, which won all but the 17-and-under contest on Saturday.
It was highlighted by some tremendous individual performances from the Roos.
"Alicia Gladman was a stand out in defence today, she worked really hard and forced a lot of turn overs," Sartori said.
" Julia Clarke, our goal attack, shot very well and her movement in attack was great to watch."
It was Kanagaroo Flat's third-straight win over the Bulldogs following a pair of wins last season.
The Roos will now prepare for Gisborne, which returned to the court for the first time this season with a nine goal win over Kyneton on Good Friday.
They will be without their coach Jayden Cowling, who is representing Victoria this week at the 2019 Australian Men's and Mixed Netball Association Championships in Melbourne.
Golden Square will be chasing its first win of the season at Strathfieldsaye.
Saturday's game against the Roos was midcourter Millie Donegan's 150th for the Bulldogs.
