A WOMAN has died at the scene of a crash after losing control of her car in Echuca.
Police believe the female driver and only occupant was driving on Hare Street when she lost control and collided with a property.
No one else was injured during the incident and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
Update, 7.10pm
THE woman is now in a critical condition.
Paramedics remain on scene and the woman remains trapped, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.

EMERGENCY services are responding to reports a car has hit a building in Echuca.
Paramedics are on scene and an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said one elderly woman was trapped in the vehicle.
It was too early for the spokesperson to confirm injuries but they understood the woman was in a serious condition.
Members of the CFA are also on scene.
The VicEmergency website has located the incident at the corner of Hare Street and Ansthruther Street.
