Like so many of us did when we were kids, Fae Scott dreamed of performing on stages while singing in her bedroom.

But unlike some of us, Scott - now known as Yergurl took her singing to the next level, created her own brand of bedroom pop and is now representing Bendigo at this year's Groovin the Moo festival.
"I am just ecstatic," the Triple J Unearthed artist said. " After going to Groovin the Moo three years in a row, transitioning from an audience member to someone performing there will be a super special memory.
"To say that (playing GTM) is what I'm doing is so exciting. Not everyone gets that opportunity. I'm just living in moment, enjoying the feeling of it being real."
Yergurl joined Dallas Wood, Mai, The Merindas, Poolz, Soju Gang, Sophiegrophy, Thando and Woodzmen as the Fresh Produce artists added to the Groovin the Moo line-up last week.
Yergurl said both GTM and Triple J had contacted her to ensure she was on the GTM Bendigo line up.
"It was kind of complicated. I got invited by Groovin the Moo and then also picked as the Unearthed winner," she said.
"So I was upgraded to the bigger stage. I have some theories about how it happened but I'm not sure.
"I think (Castlemaine's Unearthed High winner) KIAN said at the end of last year, that he would put in a good word for me. But I don't know if that actually happened. That's one theory."
Yergurl came to notice for radio listeners last year when she was announced as a finalist for Triple J's Unearthed High.
Since then she has gone from strength to strength and is set to release new music around GTM's visit to Bendigo.
"It's been great since Unearthed High," she said. "I officially signed to Future Classic, have a manager and am set to record a music video this week.
"We're looking to hopefully release the music video before Groovin the Moo."
In the last month before GTM arrives in Bendigo, Yergurl is working to intensify the sound she can produce on stage.
"I have been meeting drummers to have one join me for the live show," she said.
"Hopefully we can have more intensity with more people on stage to amplify the sound."
Yergurl also hopes people will be able to put a face to her music and see how much fun she has creating her sound.
"I'm very expressive on the stage. You see the emotion that went into the music and I hope people see how much fun I had creating because I have fun performing."
