The grade five students have participated in the March Charge, a Cancer Council fundraiser for which participants set a personal running or walking challenge.
The students and staff of the school walked or ran a combined total of 2200 kilometres throughout the month of March, raising $283.35 for the Cancer Council.
The students also collected five cent coins for the cause, and on Tuesday created a picture of a daffodil using the coins to show their support.
The fundraising effort followed on from the students' participation in The Daily Mile, a health initiative that has children run or jog for 15 minutes, at least three times a week.
The students' donation has continued the Bendigo community's strong support of the Cancer Council.
Last weekend marked the 20th annual Relay For Life, through which more than $100,000 was raised.
