Ms Paladino and mezzo-soprano Suzanne Johnston worked with a number of young singers as an audience watching on.
"It's really exciting to encourage young kids to see music as something they can do as a hobby," Ms Paladino said.
"For me when I started, it was a hobby. I never thought it would be a job. Singing for the love it is something (kids) can throw themselves into and get a huge amount of fulfillment out of it."
Bendigo Competitions Society president Fay Thomas said the eisteddfod is planned over nine months.
"It's good to see a mix of sponsors, performers, parents and interested people at the launch today," Ms Thomas said.
"The music sections start on May 4. Then it's six or seven weekends of music before we launch into the dance sections (from June 29)."
