BENDIGO East has created an opportunity at winning both the weekend and midweek pennant state championship titles.
The Beasties' weekend and midweek pennant teams were both victorious in their recent region finals to book their berths at the state championship in May.
The weekend pennant team showed its class with a comprehensive 34-shot belting of Moama at Eaglehawk.
The Beasties won 76-42 in a commanding performance.
Meanwhile, the midweek pennant team finished eight shots clear of Echuca, prevailing 43-35, also at Eaglehawk.
The weekend pennant state finals will be held at Moama from May 3 to 5.
The midweek pennant state finals will also be held at Moama from May 7 to 9.
Bendigo East's midweek pennant team has won the past five BBD premierships - a league record - continuing its run of dominance earlier this month with a 73-54 grand final win over Eaglehawk.
