Hope came to us from an interstate pound after she was removed from an utterly horrific situation where the actions of humans not only damaged her physically, but even more so emotionally. Hope is a very, VERY sweet girl who instantly draws you in with her soft, kind eyes. Hope is a very lovin girl, who is house trained and loves to go on walks with her trusted human companion. Hope also seems to love travelling in the car and is always happy to hop on in for a ride. She is a pleasure to have around, and has quickly had us all wrapped around her paws. Sadly for Hope, experience has taught her to be fearful and anxious. Hope is therefore looking for a ntherapeutic carer experienced in helping traumatized animals. While Hope simply needs someone to do life with her and help her gradually learn that she is always safe, no matter what happens - we have also come to discover that our Hopey girl needs someone who can do some training with her to help her overcome her anxiety. Hope has been in care with us for approximately a month now, and she has been left alone on many occasions for varying periods of time without any issues; however, there has been one occasion where she was overcome by severe anxiety and damaged a door. This was incredibly out of character and we are unsure what happened on this particular day that upset her so much. We haven't had any issues with her damaging things since, however she is VERY clever at houdini-ing out of a crate so there are some underlying separation anxiety issues. Usually once she gets out she simply curls up on her carer's bed and waits for him to return.  We are seeking either a foster or adoptive home with the experience and time to invest in Hope to help her thrive and start to enjoy life - rather than just tolerating it. SPROUT AND KIMCHI, DSH, Female, 3 MONTHS Sprout is a tiny tot who packs a punch! She's the cutest little munchkin who has loads of pursonality! Her signature move is laying on top of her siblings and when she's not curled up with Kimchi, she's usually running around with them. She's a funny girl who loves her cuddles and makes her carers laugh every day! Kimchi is quite the trend setter, sporting her little ginger coat (not common for female cats). This little miss socialite loves to play with her sisters and be near her human carers. Full of beans, she's always the first of her siblings to suss out a situation or investigate the new toy. She loves affection and when she's not curled up with Sprout, she will follow you around just to be close. Her specialty is kisses but sometimes she confuses her human foster parents as cats and tries to clean them! Sprout and Kimchi (and their sister Miso) have been sharing with other cats in a foster home since they were 6 weeks old. SADIE DAB05 : is a lovely natured girl who loves people. She loves to lean on you to show her affection. Has been an indoor dog so is housetrained. We would prefer her next family / home be where someone has had experience with large dogs. Sadie has been training with our dog trainer and despite being very strong, is able to be controlled and walked comfortably on a check chain. She gets along well with medium to large dogs however given her size and need for control when walked, would probably be best suited to a only dog home. Best home with no cats, rabbits and other small animals. HARRISON DAB05 : Harrison is a Greyhound X who is house trained and loves people. Harrison's next family will be experienced with dogs including being patient with working on little foibles of learning to walk better on lead (not pulling so much) and gaining confidence when out and about. Harrison gets on well with other dogs that are of the same size (medium) as him and dogs that aren't too dominating.
