Prosecution spokesman Frans Zonneveld has told The Associated Press that the motive for Monday's shooting that left three people dead and three seriously wounded is still under investigation.
The 37-year-old suspect, Gokmen Tanis, faces charges including multiple murder with a terrorist intent.
Earlier on Friday, a judge extended Tanis's detention by two weeks after ruling that "the suspicion is strong enough to detain the man for longer", according to a court statement.
Tanis was arrested after a seven hour manhunt on Monday.
