Bendigo's Brookes Beer and True Brew will feature along with Heathcote region's Cornella Brewery and Tooborac Brewery.
Echuca's Bandicoot Brewing will also offer tastings with Castlemaine's Shedshaker, Harcourt Valley Vineyards and Darraweit Valley Cider.
Overall, more than 100 beers from 31 brewers will be available to taste.
Festival organiser Darrell Billet said it was the biggest number of local breweries and cider makers the festival had hosted.
"We try to get as many locals as we can and a lot of these blokes are good to have," he said. "Cornella is with us for the first time and Darraweit Valley Ciders are a really new (maker).
"It's good to see the area represented. Six years ago Brookes took a leap of faith and have done a great job in establishing themselves."
Mr Billett said the festival, now in its seventh year, would have six bands and an escape room to entertain crowds this year.
"We're going to run a competition to see which tam can escape the quickest, with the winner getting a slab," he said.
"The rain affected us a bit last year, so we're hoping a few walk-ups will take advantage of the good weather that is forecast."
The Bendigo Craft Beer and Cider Festival is on Saturday from 11am at the Tom Flood Sports Centre. Entry is $40.
