Homicide Squad detectives today arrested a man over the fatal stabbing in Spring Gully on Friday night.
A 19-year-old Kennington man was arrested in Flora Hill this morning, and is assisting detectives with their enquiries.
Emergency services were called to the One Tree Hill Lookout after reports a man had been located with stab wounds at about 11.20pm.
The man was treated by paramedics but died at the scene. He has not yet been formally identified.

12.30pm:
Police were seen at Spring Creek in Havlin Street East this morning.
Crime Scene Services were at the scene at about 10am.
A police helicopter was seen flying over the area between 9am and 10am.

A man has died after a stabbing in Spring Gully overnight.
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating after the man died from stab wounds to the abdomen at the One Tree Hill lookout.
Emergency services were called to the lookout after reports a man had been located with stab wounds to the abdomen about 11.20pm.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated by paramedics, but died at the scene.
Police are yet to establish the exact circumstances however it is believed parties are known to each other.
The investigation remains ongoing and investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
