WOODBURY will return to division one of BBD midweek pennant following its grand final win over White Hills on Thursday.
Woodbury defeated White Hills 78-64 in the division two grand final at Bendigo East.
Woodbury's division two flag came after it was relegated from division one following a winless 2017-18 season in the top flight.
In what could be an ominous sign for Bendigo East in Friday's division one decider against Eaglehawk, the teams that finished on top of the ladder in divisions two, three, four and five were all beaten in Thursday's grand finals.
All four grand finals played on Thursday were decided by double-figure margins - the biggest being Marong's 32-shot belting of Kangaroo Flat in division three.
