Tobin, who is currently playing in Europe and will join the Bendigo Braves NBL1 team at the end of those commitments, returns to the Spirit after a stellar debut season in the WNBL.
The American centre finished in the league’s top 10 for blocks, steals, rebounds and field goal percentage, and ended 14 games scoring in double digits.
She finished third in voting for the league's defensive player of the year award and was seventh in the most valuable player award.

With the WNBL free agency period underway, the signing of Tobin – a four-time WNBL team of the week selection – quickly heads off certain interest in the former Arizona University star from rival clubs.
York, who is less than a month into her two-year deal with the Spirit, could not have been more impressed with Tobin’s performance during an improved season for the Spirit in 2018-19.
“Becca was a standout for me in the WNBL,” she said.
“She moves like a guard, works hard at both ends of the floor and can score at will.
“Most importantly, Becca is a great person and has clearly embraced the Bendigo community, lifestyle and vision for success.”
Tobin, who is currently playing with German club Rutronik Stars Keltern, is again looking forward to calling Bendigo home.
“I’m in love with Bendigo. The community has been so supportive and accepting of me and the home crowds really do love the Spirit,” she said.
“I can’t wait to get back to Bendigo and settle in for the next 10 months or so.”
