ARNOLD has snapped a 20-year Upper Loddon Cricket Association premiership drought, beating the team that denied it the flag last year.
Much like Dingee in the Northern United grand final, Arnold defied its underdog status by defeating Kingower by 95 runs in the grand final at Inglewood.
Kingower resumed Saturday's third and final day at 1-45 in its second innings and needing a further 189 runs to capture back-to-back flags for the first time.
However, after what had been an opening two days the previous weekend dominated by the bowlers, the trend continued on Saturday.
With man-of-the-match Ryan Metelmann starring with the ball for Arnold, Kingower could only a muster a further 93 runs to be bowled out for 138 just after lunch.
Metelmann backed up his first innings 4-15 with a bag of 5-28 off 23 in the second for a brilliant match haul of 9-43 off 34.5 overs.

Having also made 109 in Arnold's semi-final win over Inglewood, all-rounder Metelmann's performance with the ball capped a super finals series for the ULCA's Player of the Year.
Kingower's James Essex made the grand final's only half-century with his knock of 53 on Saturday.
Across the course of the match 40 wickets well for 485 runs - Arnold making 290 and Kingower 195.
"After losing last year and having been 20 years since the last premiership, it just makes this feel so much better," Arnold captain Michael Dale said.
"We've kept the core group from last year and it's great that we've been able to get some redemption today."
After his stunning nine catches in the first innings, Arnold wicket-keeper Phil Scholes took another two, as well as a stumping, in the second.
• Arnold premiership team - Michael Dale (C), Cody Anderson, Cameron Dale, Nicholas Drew, Matt Giri, Brian Hill, Daniel Mason, Ben Metelmann, Ryan Metelmann, Phil Scholes, Brenden Younghusband.
