Matthew Dellavedova continued his strong form in Cleveland's 112-107 win over Memphis on Sunday (AEDT).
The Maryborough product had 10 points, six assists and three rebounds as the Cavs recorded their 14th win of the season.
Five of Dellavedova's six assists came in a tense final quarter and he also scored six points down the stretch.
Over the past five games Dellavedova has averaged 6.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game for the Cavs.
"Delly has that knack to make the right pass,'' Cavs' coach Larry Drew said.
"He makes good passes, he makes timely passes. He's really been good in executing our plays."
The Cavs next game is against Portland on Tuesday (AEDT).
Meanwhile, LeBron James and the LA Lakers had a dent put in their play-off hopes when they suffered a 128-115 loss to New Orleans.
