Martin qualified for Sunday’s match play section of the tournament via an 11-man play-off on Saturday night.
Martin made a par on the par-four 18th to secure his place in the final 24.
Martin played good friend Matt Jager in Sunday morning’s first round of match play.
Martin birdied the third hole to take the lead before Jager won the fourth hole.
The duo couldn’t be split over six holes and they went to the shootout hole to decide the match.
Jager won the battle at the first play-off hole.
Kiwi Ryan Fox won the tournament at Lake Karrinyup, beating Spain's Adrian Otaegui in the match play final.
Fox beat Jazz Janewattananond, Kristoffer Reitan and Paul Dunne on the way to Sunday's final, before thrashing Otaegui in the decider with two holes to spare.
The win, Fox's first European Tour victory, is set to boost his world No.85 world ranking.
