About 3000 people attended the race meeting, which raised money for Bendigo’s eight Catholic primary schools.
The meeting had a strong family focus, with a large entertainment area set up for kids.
On the track, the feature race the Bendigo Ford Marong Cup was won by short-priced favourite Anemoi.
Bendigo trainers Danny Curran and Andrew Sawden enjoyed success on their home track.
Curran prepared Welcome Stryker to win race six, while the Sawden-trained Drysdale Spirit won the final event.
