The young couple, who have established their stable at Shelbourne, collected their third win with the eight-year-old pacer, who started his racing career in Tasmania.
His previous most recent win came at Shepparton last September.

Resurgent Spirit ($4.80) was superbly driven by Ashwood, who pushed the pacer through to the lead from the second line and was able to dictate the race, keeping a fast-finishing Lookofalegend, from the powerful Emma Stewart stable, at bay in the closing stages.
The gelding was stepping back in class following a fifth-placed effort in the previous week’s Group 3 Echuca Pacing Cup.
Hargreaves and Ashwood were unlucky not to make it two winners for the night, with Toolern Art Miss having to settle for a seconds placing behind the Chris Svanosio trained and driven Quamby Reactor in the Team Teal Pace (1750m).
Svanosio was similarly unfortunate not to return to Bendigo with more than one winner.
The Group 1-winning driver scored a trio of second placings with Majestic Devil, Delightful Mia and Major McRae.
