PHIL PALMA MARONG CUP
Experience this race day with the Phil Palma Bendigo Ford Marong Cup.
Celebrate a fundraising day, with monies going towards the catholic community in Bendigo.
The day features opportunities to get up close and personal with the jockeys, trainers and the racing action.
You can also try your hand at backing a winner, or by enjoying a picnic by the track.
There is also grandstand seating for a bit of extra cover.
Packages are also available for those looking to indulge.

Have you thought about researching your family history?
This meeting of the Bendigo Family History Group will be looking at laptop computers, for easier access to relevant information.
Discussions of how much information can be found and where it can be located will also take place.
Head along and learn more about your local relatives that you may not know.
After the meeting, stay for a cuppa and a chat.

WOMEN IN STEM
Head along and listen to four local female STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) heroes, Alissa Van Soest, Jude Anderson, Natasha Bartholomeusz and Pauleen Bennett speak about their careers and journeys.
Be inspired by their stories and their passion and see how they are changing the world.
There is also the opportunity to view STEMpowered, an exhibition of women's contribution to STEM in Australia.

GRIDIRON COME AND TRY
Bendigo’s only Gridiron team, the Bendigo Dragons, are giving the community an opportunity to see what the sport is about.
Practice drills and skills with the team and learn about the unique sport.
Where: Tom Flood Sports Centre, Park Road, Bendigo.
When: Tuesday, February 19, 3pm-4pm.
The Repair Cafe is back after a Christmas break and this year they are in a new space.
If you have any broken valuables, the Repair Cafe will help you to repair them.
Bring your buttons, zips, bulbs and anything else that you may need for your item.
All fixers are skilled volunteers. Donations are appreciated.
Where: The Old Church on the Hill, corner Harkness and Russell Streets, Quarry Hill.

If you're an avid mountain bike rider but don't know too many other like minded women, then join in for this social ride and meet new friends.
The mountain trail bike social ride takes place at the scenic Spring Gully MTB Trails and is ideal for women who love adventure and dirt.
Where: Muldoon Reserve, Wattle Drive, Spring Gully.
When: Sunday's, February 17, from 9am.
Enjoy a classic era themed Doctor Who meet with some like minded Whovians at the only regular Doctor Who meet in Victoria.
You can bring along items of Doctor Who merchandise that you own, or a Doctor Who item you have made for the “Show & Tell” segment and you're free to wear Doctor Who themed cosplay or Doctor Who clothing. Merchandise will be on sale.
There will also be a free raffle, with a major prize donated by Collect Em All and Good Vs Evil.
Join in with the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
All are welcome to attend this free event.

FAMILY BUSH DANCE
The Bush Dance and Music Club are hosting another great family dance.
The evening features Old Time and Bush dances. Music will be played by the Emu Creek Bush Band.
There will also be a raffle and a lucky door prize.
A plate of supper would be appreciated.

SATURDAY NIGHT DANCE
The Spring Gully Hall Committee is hosting another great Saturday evening dance.
This toe-tapping event features music by Cheryl Bailey, a good program and a delicious home cooked supper.
The evening also has a raffle and great prizes.
Admission is $9 and everyone is more than welcome to attend.

Come and dance salsa in Bendigo's beautiful gardens. Bring a picnic and a friend and learn something new.
Classes are 30-45 minutes followed by 45-60 minutes of dancing. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing to allow for movement.

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
PARENT AND TODDLER YOGA
Parent and toddler yoga classes not only help parents strengthen their body, but it also helps create patience and resilience in the studio with a toddler.
This event includes various stretches, breathing and meditation skills.
Children are also welcome to join in or to play around their parents.

ENCHANTED FOREST SAND SCULPTURES
Join in on a mythical adventure with impressive sand sculptures.
This sculptures are held at the scenic (and historical) homestead, Dromkeen, which adds to the wonder of the exhibition.
Fairies, unicorns, goblins and other creatures will be waiting to show you the magic of an enchanted forest.
Some of the world’s best sand sculpting artists have come together, turning 300 tonnes of sand into a wonderland.
This exhibition also allows for people of all ages to enjoy interactive fun.

THE LONG SUMMER SALON
Join in for the first exhibition opening event of 2019 at Cascade Art, Maldon.
