The group has raised an estimated $2 million for the hospital’s Intensive and Critical Care unit in the last four decades.
Those funds have gone towards providing additional equipment, patient care items, and patient diaries.
The group’s fundraising has also assisted in over 20 scholarships for critical care nurses.
The Auxiliary’s secretary Beth Benbow said the group has enjoyed finding ways to help raise money.
“We have a wonderful group of knitters, sewers and bakers who delight in fully using their talents,” she said. “I would like to thank all those present and past members for the wonderful efforts they put in.”
The Intensive Care Auxiliary’s next fundraising event is a celebration lunch at the Bendigo Stadium on Monday March 4
