CFA crews control large grass fire in Lower Moira

Eight Country Fire Authority crews have controlled a large grass fire in Lower Moira, east of Echuca this morning.
The fire was reported on Stewarts Bridge Road at 5.45am with crews taking 90 minutes to access and control the fire.

A CFA spokesman said the fire was near Shackles Foleys Bridge and that no homes of properties were threatened.
It is estimated the fire was one hectare in size at about 6.30am.
