A man caught drink-driving has told a court he will probably lose his job because of the mandatory driving disqualification.
The man returned a reading of 0.089 after he was stopped by police on McIvor Road last July.
He pleaded guilty to the offence in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court this month.
The court heard the man lived in Traralgon but worked shifts in Bendigo.
He said the loss of licence would probably mean he would lose his job.
The man was not convicted but fined $500.
His licence was cancelled and he was disqualified from driving for six months.
All drivers found drink-driving are disqualified from driving under new laws introduced last year.
