The former Bendigo cricketer belted an outstanding 161 off 155 balls for Essendon in Sunday’s Victorian Premier Cricket action.
The left-hander hit 19 fours and five sixes as the Bombers chased down Northcote’s total of 278 for the loss of just two wickets inside 60 overs.
It was Seymour’s second-straight first XI century and third ton for the season. He’s scored 751 runs for Essendon at an average of 57.8.
Seymour’s form for Essendon and his three half-centuries at the recent Futures League T20 carnival in Perth has earned him a place in the Victorian Futures League team for the four-day clash with NSW Metro at Ringwood, starting Monday.
He’ll be joined in the team by former Strathfieldsaye paceman Xavier Crone.
Former Sandhurst spinner Liam Bowe took three wickets for Essendon in the win over Northcote.
