
Bendigo cyclist Jason Lea wrapped up his debut on the Jayco Herald Sun Tour.
Lea – racing for Team BridgeLane – finished the Sun Tour in 23rd position, 15 minutes and 47 seconds behind overall winner Dylan Van Baarle.
The Sun Tour is considered to be one of Australia’s heritage sporting events and features stages throughout Gippsland and Melbourne.
Jason Lea also capped a dream debut at the Tour Down Under in South Australia in January by clinching the King of the Mountain title.

- Stage One Phillip Island Race Course: 25th (+4 seconds off lead)
- Stage Two: Wonthaggi-Churchill: 56th (+10 mins 34 seconds off lead)
- Stage Three: Warragul: 35th (+1 min 19 seconds off lead)
- Stage Four: Cape Schanck: 14th (+3 mins 35 seconds off lead)
- Stage Five: Melbourne CBD: 46th (+ 1 min 46 seconds off lead)
- Jason Lea Final Result: 23rd (+15 mins 47 seconds off lead)
