At least eight people have been killed in Bolivia when a mudslide buried six cars on a mountainous road near the capital La Paz.
Several cars on the road from Yolosita to Caranavi were struck by mud and debris after days of heavy rain in Caranavi, the El Deber newspaper reports
Seventeen people were injured.
Residents of several dozen homes had to be evacuated.
There were reports some people were still trapped in the mud, the Erbol radio network said.
