Legendary musician Elton John will play at Hanging Rock on the Australian leg of his farewell tour.
John will perform 15 shows in Australia during his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, including Hanging Rock on January 25 next year.
Pre-sale tickets will go on sale from Friday, February 8, with general sale tickets available from Friday, February 15.
Hanging Rock has hosted some of the world’s biggest entertainers, including Bruce Springsteen, Ed Sheeran and the Eagles.
71-year-old John – who holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time with Candle in the Wind 1997 - released his debut album Empty Sky in 1969.
He has since sold more than 300 million records.
In announcing his final tour, John said he needed to spend more time raising his children.
