The Magpies, under new coach Rob Wright, will play the Firebirds at Bendigo Stadium on Saturday, February 23.

It will be the first of two visits to Bendigo this season for the Magpies, who will play a match for premiership points against West Coast Fever on Saturday, May 25.

Wright, who has succeeded Kristy Keppich-Birrell as head-coach of the Magpies, has embraced the club’s decision to play in regional areas.

“This is a fabulous opportunity to get out into regional Victoria, allowing the community to witness elite netball in the flesh”, Wright said.

“It’s a great chance for us to recognise and embrace talent in those regions which have such strong sporting prowess.”
