Police are investigating in the small town south-east of Castlemaine after the offenders reversed a grey Ford Territory into the Metro Petroleum station’s window at about 3.45am.
Castlemaine sergeant Peter Lakaitis said two offenders then got out of the car and stole an EFTPOS machine, some sunglasses and snacks.
“They’ve then left in the same vehicle,” he said.
