After four rounds of Twenty20 matches in Melbourne, Northern Rivers is undefeated.
With three preliminary round matches remaining, Northern Rivers is the only unbeaten team in the Renegades conference.
Northern Rivers' biggest test came in round four on Tuesday evening against the previously unbeaten Wizards from the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Northern Rivers struggled to reach 7-88 before the bowlers dismantled the Wizards for just 76.
Harry Tonks (3-2), Todd Murphy (3-12) and Nick Gladman (2-12) did the damage with the ball.

Round one – Northern Rivers 2-92 (Todd Murphy 63 not out and 2-8, Nick Gladman 3-9) defeated Mallee 9-91.
Round two – Northern Rivers 8-107 (Scott Morris 24 and 3-7, Henry Tonks 3-12) defeated Waves 98.
Round three – Northern Rivers 8-107 (Todd Murphy 25, Ryan O’Keefe 20 and 2-4) defeated Falcons 5-89.
Northern Rivers plays Barown on Wednesday.
