The burn-off of the LPG has started, with a control traffic flow to continue during the draining and burn off process.
Monday, 10.03am: Parts of Allingham and Regent Streets have been closed while the CFA conduct a burn off of the LPG.
CFA members are directing traffic through the area as they finish their preparations.
Earlier: One lane of Allingham St in Kangaroo Flat is closed after a car fire.
Two Country Fire Authority trucks are at the scene after the white sedan caught fire underneath the bonnet.
The fire has been put out but traffic is affected.
The car, which was dual LPG and petrol, was towing an empty horse float.
CFA is set to burn off the last of the LPG gas in the car’s cylinder shortly.
