KYNETON Football-Netball Club will use a Federal Government grant of more than $13,000 to refurbish its kitchen facilities at the Kyneton Showgrounds.
The kitchen improvements in the pavilion will include upgrades of cabinetry, sink and tapware, the purchase of a deep fryer and waterproofed flooring.
The grant of $13,636 is through the Stronger Communities Program and was announced by Federal Member for Bendigo Lisa Chesters on Thursday.
“An upgraded kitchen will be a much welcome addition to the Kyneton Football-Netball Club social rooms… one that can be used widely by other community groups as well to help us all maximise our fundraising opportunities,” Tigers president Karen O’Sullivan said.
