A woman is in a serious condition after her car crashed into a tree this evening.
Paramedics were called to the incident on the Loddon Valley Highway at Campbells Forest, where they assessed the woman, just after 6.30pm.
The woman, aged in her 20s, has been loaded into an air ambulance and transported to the Austin Hospital in Melbourne.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the woman’s condition was serious.
Police are also on scene and the highway has currently blocked off to allow the ambulance helicopter to land. The highway is expected to re-open shortly.
Acting Sergeant David Becker from Wedderburn police said a single vehicle with one occupant was travelling north on the Loddon Valley Highway when it crashed.
Police are yet to determined the cause of the crash but suspected driver error.
The crash comes after emergency services attended a car rolled on the Loddon Valley Highway near Durham Ox earlier in the evening.
Two people were transported by road ambulance to Bendigo.
