Melbourne set to consume the bulk of Victoria’s growth

Population projections estimate Melbourne will house a staggering 8.4 million people by 2050, almost 83 percent of the Victorian population. Regional growth will be smaller but of the 1.8 million people who will live outside Melbourne some estimates have Ballarat reaching 200,000 people in that time.
