A man has been charged with drink driving after a crash on the Calder Highway early on Sunday morning.

Debris was spread for 60 metres along the road when emergency services were called to the scene of the crash near Kyneton at 3.30am.
The car’s front wheel and axle had been torn off by the force of of impact with the barrier of the freeway overpass.
Police say the likely cause of the crash was a vehicle malfunction.
The driver registered a blood alcohol content of 0.035. He was uninjured in the crash.
Kyneton CFA crews performed a wash-away to clean the road. It is one of several serious car accidents they have attended recently.
