Police have located more than 60 memorial plaques that were stolen from a Kilmore cemetery this month.
All of the 66 missing plaques were located hidden underneath shrubbery near the cemetery this morning after it’s believed they were dumped overnight.
They have been given into the care of cemetery staff.
Kilmore police are still searching for the thief who stole the plaques from the Kilmore-Lancefield Road cemetery sometime between 1 and 17 December.
Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time.

Police have called for public help after more than 60 memorial plaques were stolen from an urn wall in Kilmore.
The thieves stole 66 brass and bronze plaques from the memorial urn wall, worth more than $20,000.
Police believe the unknown offenders entered the cemetery on the Kilmore-Lancefield Road sometime between December 1 and December 17.
Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses, or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
