The incident took place in Lawson Street, Spring Gully, late this evening.
Bendigo Police Senior Constable Lincoln Owens said the driver of a Mitsubishi Pajero ute, a man approximately 30 years old, left the road and travelled about 150 metres.
“He’s been taken to hospital, just for observation,” he said.
Senior Constable Owens said the nature and cause of the suspected medical episode were still to be confirmed.
The corner wall of a house had been damaged, but police and firefireghters believed its structural integrity was still fine.
Noone was home at the time of the crash and Senior Constable Owens understood the owners had been notified.
